Types of Hands as per the elements
- Earth
- Air
- Fire
- Water
- Mixed
1. Earth Hand
Identifying features and characteristics-
- Fingers are short with Square (having two adjacent sides equal length) shaped palm.
- Bones are big and fingers are stiff & short.
- Mounts on the palm are strong, fleshy and firm.
- Lines on the palm are few– Mainly you will see Heart, Head, lifeline and fate line prominent
- Sometimes you may see stiff or hard palms with flat mounts– this is mainly seen in lower socioeconomic strata.
- Length of the middle finger is 3/4th of that of the palm
- This type is mainly seen in individual’s who have developed manual skills.
- These are people who are following or looking for fixed structure and routinely traded path in life.
2. Air hand
Identifying features and characteristics-
- They have square hands like earth type but instead, for short have long fingers.
- Fingertips are often rounded
- Bones are not big like earth type and usually have flat mounts.
- Length of the middle finger is 7/8th or more to the length of a palm.
- Unlike earth hand, they have long and many lines on their palm.
- These are people who are flexible, adaptable, have a passion for anything to do with communication
- They are quick learners
3. Fire Hand
Identifying features and characteristics-
- They have Rectangular palms with short fingers i.e. finger length is similar to that of the earth type.
- Palm is red coloured indicating full of vitality (in medical term indicating good haemoglobin count)
- Lines are deep, clear and red as well
- They are goal oriented and give importance to work.
4. Water hand
Identifying features and characteristics-
- They have rectangular palms with long fingers. Palm is narrow in shape.
- Length of the middle finger is 7/8th the length of the palm and they are longer than the width of the palm
- Fingers on water hand are flexible i.e. they can bend backwards
- Lines on the palm fine, thin (looks frail) and many times chained/ having series of islands.
5. Mixed hand
It is difficult to get to see above mentioned pure elemental types of hand. Majority of what we see is mixed features of above types with one feature dominating over others.
